Approach

As a former collegiate athlete and orthopedic patient, I have a profound understanding of the challenges faced during orthopedic recovery. My primary goal is to listen to each patient’s concerns and thoroughly assess their medical condition to deliver the most accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan, aiming to return them to sports and daily activities as safely and quickly as possible. I am dedicated to providing evidence-based care and presenting all available options, thereby empowering patients to make informed decisions about their treatment.

I derive great satisfaction from offering both non-operative and operative care when appropriate. My special interests encompass sports medicine for all ages—from young athletes to professionals—athletic development, injury prevention, and the role of nutrition in enhancing recovery after surgery. Additionally, I emphasize the importance of exercise in orthopedic health and longevity.

I have been fortunate to learn from and work alongside distinguished orthopedic surgeons trained at renowned institutions including Johns Hopkins, Hospital for Special Surgery, Southern California Orthopedic Institute, The University of Nebraska, The University of Florida, and New York University.

In my professional capacity, I contribute to the National Commission of Physician Assistants by participating in item writing and test development for Physician Assistant board certification. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, pursuing fitness activities, and coaching and playing sports with my kids.
