Our physicians and staff work together to ensure that patients receive complete orthopedic care, whether surgical or nonsurgical, for problems of the bones, joints and muscles. SOI physicians are board certified in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The team is composed of a Shoulder Specialist, Hand Specialist , Foot and Ankle Specialist, and two Physicians with 55 combined years of Hip and Knee Procedures. SOI Physicians are known regionally and throughout the world as leaders in their fields. They lecture frequently, train others and develop new surgical techniques and many of the breakthrough hardware used in today’s surgeries.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide support to healthcare professionals in our two clincs and X-ray departments.

Duties

– Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

– Perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs and recording patient information

– Administer medications under the direction of a physician

– Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and explain procedures

– Handle medical instruments and equipment with care

– Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Skills

– Experience in orthopedics is preferred

– Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge

– Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain confidentiality

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
